Since I got back to Germany being broke, unemployed and homeless (hooray, not!) I had no other option but to move back in with my parents. They live in the tiny village I grew up in, pretty much in the middle of nowhere in Germany. Although it’s a pain to get anywhere, especially without a car, the countryside is absolutely beautiful and it’s a nice place to come back to and relax. I’m currently sitting on my balcony, in the blazing sun and writing this post, could it be any better?
Apart from job hunting, my days have been filled with eating lots of good food, going for a run and I completed the 30 days of yoga with Adriene which was so much fun and did help me with my post-travel depression (there’ll be a separate post about this soon!). I also really enjoyed meeting up with old friends and going for walks with a friend and her dog Ben who is the nicest dog ever!
I also managed to fit in a little trip to Manchester last weekend to see my best friend. She took me to a lovely Alice-in-Wonderland-themed Tea Room where we had amazing cake! Aaaand since she is getting married next year she asked me to be her maid of honor which I am so excited about!
That’s it from me for now! What have you been up to lately? Do you find job hunting as annoying as me?
